One of the underwater Remotely Operated Vehicles, also known as ROV in short, promoted on Deep Tracker’s website is the DTG3. According to the website, its size could be easily fitted in the luggage, with a weight of 18lbs. The website did note that its body flexibility is however limited to three thrusters with a “patented” pitch, it could be compensated by its flexible camera and optional add-ons. grabber specific for DTG3, which is a grab arm with the biggest grabber rotation among the other underwater ROVs at 180 degrees. Some other add-ons options that the Deep Trekker webpage specifies are the laser scaler, which could be used for size estimation for visual inspections, Ultra Short Baseline Locating (USBL) positioning, which is a location system for the ROV, thickness gauge, environmental sensors for like temperature or potential hydrogen (pH), and extended tether to extend from the current 75 metres to 700 metres. With all these features at a price range as low as $8500 United States dollars (USD), it shows clearly that it is the most cost-efficient underwater ROVs compared to the other available ones that Deep Tracker offers.


With all these features laid out, the DTG3 has better underwater navigation and inspection than normal humans do.
